Genuine question, what's with fast food places constantly messing up "plain" orders?
I'm not the type to make a scene at a resturant when they get my order wrong, especially if it's busy. Of course, I'm also not against (politely) asking for an order to be remade. Today I didn't think it was worth the trouble. I just find it baffling.
Plain orders should be the easiest to make. With a regular order, I can understand missing a condiment or two but adding shit that shouldn't be there to begin with? Especially when you add a LOT of it, like just drowning the thing in ketchup or mayo. I wouldn't even want that much mayo if I did ask for mayo in the first place, which I didn't.
Avoiding my burger becoming 90% condiment and only 10% actual meat is the reason why I order my burgers plain to begin with. But it seems counter-productive considering half the time I order plain the guys working there double-down on condiments. Like oh yeah, this guy wants plain? WE'LL SHOW HIM PLAIN!
All this to say, mayo and mustard could be erradicated from this Earth and nothing of substance would be lost. Sorry mayo and mustard enjoyers, you're subhuman. Get better taste. Or start eating healthy, homemade food instead, but who's got the time to do that?
